Re-issue/homage VC*Q* 304/1963 (Watchdives) arrives at the AMCHPR

As you can see by my second photo, I like 304/1963 re-issues a lot.

But I also like them enough not to want to put them too much in harm's way, I've also mentioned before that I prefer quartz chrono movements to mechanical chrono movements for steady/daily chrono use--not because I don't trust ST19s, but because I just don't generally trust mechanical chronos from *anywhere* (look up 7750 problems, for example).

And I love acrylic crystals too, for their warmth and light handling, and because scratches can buff out. But acrylic *can* scratch easily enough if one is careless, and sapphire is probably the most easily maintained crystal.

So when I saw Watchdives had a Miyota powered, sapphire crystal 304 homage...for under $100 (!!) I jumped at it.

Well, it arrived today (my birthday, so I'm a happy camper).

Miyota 6S21 Quartz movement, 316L stainless steel case, solid caseback, Sapphire crystal/AR coated. WR 50m /5 ATM, green super Luminova, 40mm (without crown), 48 lug to lug. 18mm thick, 20mm lugs.

It feels solid and came wearing an inexpensive but (so far) serviceable milanese mesh (as ordered), and there was a nice 20mm Watchdives NATO along with it (and not one I already had, too).

Packed well and came in a budget but very protective plastic travel case.
