2015 Watchuseek F71 HKED Bundeswehr project watch and an old (well built) French compass

The 2015 Watchuseek F71 HKED Bundeswehr homage project watch was ably guided by Ed Tse of HKED and a dedicated group of forum members.

The strap is CNS straps / Standard Strap Navy, yellow and red.

The compass belonged to my grandmother. She passed in 1972 so it was older than that. The dial states Made in France.

If you'd like a deeper dive, here's a link to the day the AMCHPR received the watch, spending time with Ed Tse of HKED and Brad Green of EastWatchReview, at Shenzhen's SeaWorld resort/tourist/mall complex.

Brad was living in an apartment immediately adjacent to the complex, and I was visiting Shenzhen and Guangzhou, so I booked a night at SeaWorld's main hotel attraction: the landlocked Minghua, originally a French liner launched in 1962 and now a fitted as a higher end stationary hotel. Ed came over from Hong Kong 👍

The best thing about the horological world is the people.

(and the Minghua is a cool place to stay. Lots of eye candy for photography.)
