1960s Liaoning SL1 16 jewel w/ striped movement
What grade would that be considered?
I'd expect Grade 1 or 2, but I can't find it on the best vintage Chinese watch movement grades list I know of. It was Liaoning's best movement at the time, and it's pretty good.
Nice. Love the logo and "12" indices. And to gold hands. ❤️
Why was it called a "striped movement?" Maybe my eyes are shot but I don't see any stripes?
I mistook it for another Liaoning and changed the title to un-striped. Your eyes are fine 😀
I looked at that photo at max zoom three times looking for stripes. 😂
Looking for the "sorry" emoticon...
All good. It was a hoot, no doubt, had anyone seen me.
