Surprise GMT release from Boldr?

GMT Tarangire

Could not resist picking one up on the black friday sale. First time seeing these and bought it on a whim. Never thought I liked the explorer II design language from that other brand Rollick's or whatever, but this one ticked all the right boxes. And using Seiko's NH34 GMT movement. Been looking for a GMT watch for awhile now and was considering the Timex Q GMT pepsi (quartz).

Haven't seen any posts on these yet here or anywhere, I believe this is the first we are seeing of it from the catalogue as well. You're still able to see the page by googling GMT Tarangire but it's not listed on the site. Thoughts?

There's also a Serengeti model.

I love the green colorway on the dial and bezel of that model but the fixed bezel takes it off the table for me. So many microbrands are popping up with NH34 watches but they either have unidirectional bezels, fixed bezels, or look like Rolex GMT Master knockoffs...

Holy guacamole, that is a beautiful watch. Steel or titanium?

That said, if it was me I'd change the GMT hand to something more distinct. An all yellow GMT hand to contrast the green perhaps?

It was a toss up between the white and the green. If it were black and green I would have bought that to have a green dial-ed watch. But dark green light green not so much.

Although most of their catalogue is titanium this is steel.

I literally went to their site to look for it after seeing the photo. What are the dimensions of the watch?

40mm across but no idea on the height. You won't find it their catalogue you'd have to manually google "boldr GMT Tarangire" and click the the direct link. Good luck, the release was for 10 pieces. No idea if there will be more
