Longines Spirit 37 - Alternatives
I've been absolutely loving the new Longines Spirit. But - want to make sure I'm giving myself a full overview of what's out there.
What are some Spirit 37 Alternatives? Some goal (but not necessary) items:

The Tag Heuer Carrera for the date-only version is in that range and has 100m water resistance, I believe. The new blacked-out Seiko Alpinist would also fit in there as would the regular green dial Alpinist. The new smaller Hamilton Murph is in that range, although I don't know if it's up to 100m water resistance. I think for around that price you could also get the Tudor Black Bay Heritage, although that's 36 and 41 I believe, and no date, but still a really good watch. There's also a slew of microbrands that would fit the bill, but I'm not sure if you want to go that way.

Some really good options here. Never even thought of the Carrera. And definitely open to microbrands as long it's a reputable place (e.g. monta, etc.). I also love that Black Bay 36 - only drawback is the lack of a date as hoping for this one to be a daily driver.
My favorite micro-brand based in the U.S. is Tsao Baltimore. Take a look at the Legacy Steel 36. All have dates and great colors. I have the Constellation. They are built like a tank and are beautiful at the same time.
