Seeking info on Lorton

Hello all,

I was given this watch by my father in law just before he passed away. I’ve not have much luck on the Google so I’m reaching out to the community of watch-a-holics for help.

The back of the watch has the following:

FOND AC ER

INOXYDABLE

2005

Appreciate any and all info you may have.

thanks

Fond Acier Inoxydable means foundation/ base/ back of stainless steel.  Case may be a completely different material.  Inoxydable (or nowadays just “Inox”) literally means cannot oxydise or rust.  In North America we call it stainless even though some common grades can be stained by mustard, mayonnaise and other substances.

Mulco registered the trademark in 1937.  Mulco was a small watchmaker that no one thought to buy or combine with. Once the original family dies out some of these companies vanish without a trace.

That watch is radioactive! see the radiation burn on the dial?
