Timex x Todd Snyder - It looks like a rotary phone!
Ordered this guy on Black Friday. I have a new found respect for Timex after getting the Weekender, so when I saw this I had to get it. Plus, it’s in line with my love of outdated technology. I collect typewriters and zippo’s, so a rotary phone style watch is right up my alley.

Ok, so I need the help of my fellow Crunchers. Black leather original or red silicone. And I’ll let you know that the red fits much better.
Timex had a few iterations of their "Telephone dial" watches in the 70's. This one is an electronic, shown with a quickset calendar. I wish I still had it.

That is fantastic! I had no idea that this was a call back. No pun intended. But that’s a beautiful watch.
This was part of the Todd Snyder Modern art line. they released 3 color variants. The one you have. This one, and a blue blackjack dial. I plan on finding the one you have, that black and red 2 piece nato would look good on this. These are strap monsters! yours especially!

Agreed. They've produced some very nice designs over the last two years. I find myself adding several of their recent models to my side list.
I have the same one! Has a poker chip type look to me and it surprisingly goes well with everything.

Now I'm feeling nostalgic of the old rotary phone we used. I was...11, I think when dear old dad decided to be hip and exchange the old rotary to those keypad phones.

I have a vague memory of one of my relatives teaching me how to use one? But it's like one of my earliest memories.
Heh. I still remember the first phone for our house. It's a Siemens rotary phone with a JT (short for Telecom department) stamp on it. Looks like this but ours was....I want to say brown but I may misremember that.

I don’t think we did but, we did have one with the same body that they clearly altered to have push buttons. My grandpa had a rotary for WAY too long.
